What is UDance?

UDance Dance Marathon is the University of Delaware's largest annual philanthropic event. The day-long marathon, known as UDance, takes place at the Bob Carpenter Center on campus. This philanthropic event consists of year-long fundraising from student-run campus organizations. Students raise money for the B+ foundation to support children with cancer. Our chapter is paired with our B+ Hero, Katie. Andrew McDonough’s family founded the B + foundation after Andrew's passing from cancer in 2007. Andrew had a 167 day-long battle with leukemia and died on July 14th, 2007 at 14 years old. The B+ foundation funds cancer research, spreads awareness and supports families in need. The University of Delaware brings such high, communal morale to the UDance marathon.
